Avoiding Nantwich -

We have received advice from our friends 'up north' that the best route is one that avoids Nantwich -
Take the A130 or A127 to the M25.  Go anti-clockwise to Junction 21 - M1
Go north on the M1 to Junction 19
Bear left onto the M6 and continue to Junction 20
Come off the M6 and onto the M56 Eastbound (North Wales)
Keep on the M56 until it stops at a roundabout.  Ignore the Chester signs and go left, signposted for
North Wales and Queensferry.
Go left at the next roundabout (signposted for Chester).  Beware speed cameras.
You will pass the Mollington Banastre Hotel.
At the first roundabout take the third exit (signposted Queensferry & Sealand Industrial Estates).
Go straight on at lights and then straight on at next roundabout past some old shops.
At next lights (Texas/Homebase on left hand side, MFI opposite right) go straight over into
Bumpers Lane.  Ground is half a mile on right hand side.
Total Mileage 250 miles.

Directions

If you want to save 20 miles, follow this route which takes you through Nantwich -
Take the A130 or A127 to the M25.  Go anti-clockwise to Junction 21 - M1
Go north on the M1 to Junction 19
Bear left onto the M6 and continue to Junction 16
Leave the M6 and head west on the A500 to Nantwich
Keep going on the A51 towards Chester.

Car from the East (A51)
Through the village of Littleton to a roundabout. Turn left here on to the A55. After 3.9 miles exit the A55 (signpost Chester A483). At roundabout turn right onto A483. Follow signs to Chester over 3 roundabouts for 2.3 miles and over bridge over the River Dee. Turn left at the next roundabout (outside Police Headquarters) into Nicholas Street. Turn left at lights after 0.2 miles into Watergate Street. Head straight on through the Roman Walls into Sealand Road. After 0.9 miles turn left at set of lights opposite Texas Homecare into Bumpers Lane. Head down Bumpers Lane to the end of the road and the ground is on your right.
Total mileage 223 miles.

Disabled Facilities

There is space for 32 wheelchairs and 40 helpers in the East and West stands. There is a disabled toilet in both areas. Cost is free for disabled full price for helper. For the blind there are 10 places with headphones for hospital radio commentary. In all instances it is best to book with the club in advance.
